Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier.Google Chrome is an open source web browser developed by Google inc.
Microsoft Internet Explorer, commonly abbreviated to IE, is a series of graphical web browsers developed by Microsoft and included as part of the Microsoft Windows line of operating systems starting in 1995.
I was a FF user for some time, went away from IE, but IE8 is a real advance. And at least for me, running Vista, it is faster than FF3, renders pages better and has the useful Accelerator feature. I do like the lightness and speed of Chrome, but IT Handyman has it right about the Active X issue, and others have mentioned the add-on issue. I don't have MDS (Microsoft Derangement Syndrome) or belong to an OS cult. I bet they will all improve on their respective shortcomings, and I will use each. We all are benefiting from the browser war going on.
